An average where weight falls off in a straight line.
The newest candle counts n times, the one before n−1 times, and so on. It sits between an SMA and an EMA in how fast it reacts.
Worked out by the same code the builder uses, on stored daily candles. Move a setting and the line moves with it. This is what happened, not what will happen.
Entry: Price close crosses above WMA(20).
Differences with an EMA of the same length are small; do not expect a different strategy from swapping one for the other.
