Speed and acceleration of an indicator

Not just where a line is, but how fast it moves and whether it speeds up.

Every series in TradeXtool can be read four ways: its value, its speed (change per candle), its acceleration (change of the speed) and its slope as a % of price.

'RSI is above 55' asks where RSI is. 'RSI speed is above 0' asks whether it is rising right now. 'MACD histogram acceleration is above 0' asks whether momentum is building, often earlier than the histogram itself turns.

No indicator predicts the market on its own. Build the rule, then test it on years of history with fees included. Try TradeXtool free for 14 days.
