A running total that adds volume on up candles and subtracts it on down candles.
The level means nothing; the direction does. OBV rising while price is flat is read as quiet buying.
Worked out by the same code the builder uses, on stored daily candles. Move a setting and the line moves with it. This is what happened, not what will happen.
