Two midpoints of recent highs and lows: a fast and a slow one.
Tenkan is the midpoint of the last 9 candles, kijun of the last 26. Tenkan above kijun means the short-term range sits higher than the longer one.
TradeXtool uses these two lines; the cloud itself is not included.
Worked out by the same code the builder uses, on stored daily candles. Move a setting and the line moves with it. This is what happened, not what will happen.
Entry: Ichimoku tenkan crosses above Ichimoku kijun.
The default settings come from a six-day trading week decades ago; on crypto, which never closes, there is nothing special about 9 and 26.
