How much the price usually moves per candle.
ATR measures volatility, not direction. TradeXtool uses ATR(14) for every stop, target and trailing distance, so they adapt when the market gets calmer or wilder.
The series 'pct' is ATR as a % of price, which lets you compare volatility between coins.
Worked out by the same code the builder uses, on stored daily candles. Move a setting and the line moves with it. This is what happened, not what will happen.
Gate: ATR(14) % is below 4, so you skip the wildest markets.
A stop of 1 ATR is inside the normal noise of one candle; most strategies need 1.5 to 3.
